Step-to-Step Massage Techniques (called abhyanga)
Self-Abhyanga
A daily self-care ritual that nourishes the skin, supports circulation, and calms the nervous system.
- Choose your Banana Passion Massage oil and sit on a waterproof blanket or a towel in a warm room.
- Begin at the head, massaging the scalp in slow circles with your fingertips.
- Move to face and neck, using gentle, upward strokes.
- Massage arms and shoulders with long strokes on limbs and circular strokes at joints.
- Apply oil in clockwise circles on the chest and abdomen, following the path of digestion.
- Reach the back with long up-and-down strokes.
- Finish with the legs and feet, using firm strokes and taking time on the soles for grounding.
- Let the oil absorb for at least 10–20 minutes if applying before a shower.
Partner Abhyanga
A sensual and nurturing massage that enhances connection while balancing energy.
- Take Banana Passion Massage oil and apply it liberally to your partner’s skin. Create a calm, warm environment.
- Start with the head and scalp, using small circular motions to relax nerves and increase warmth.
- Move to face, ears, and neck, massaging gently outward from the centre.
- Use long strokes on the arms and legs (toward the heart) and circular motions on the joints and abdomen (clockwise).
