What makes our GripMe™ waterproof blankets different is how thin yet highly absorbent they are, while still staying firmly in place thanks to the soft silicone grip backing. Even the smaller sizes can handle a lot of liquid, so you can relax without worrying about slips, slides, or messy spills. They’re quiet (no crinkle), and easy to care for, just pop them in the washing machine and they’re ready to go again.
Wash separately on a cold or warm fast-spin cycle (max 40°C). Avoid using a delicate cycle, as it doesn’t remove water effectively. Wash your Banana Passion blankets like you would wash your towels and sheets, with an extra spin cycle to release moisture and reduce drying time. For heavy stains like blood or wine, pre-treat with stain remover before washing. Avoid fabric softeners, bleach. You can use a tablespoon of bicarb soda to remove any smell during washing. Instructions are included with the product for optimal care and longevity.

I read the description of these and their many uses but I won’t be putting this on my bed and certainly don’t plan on pouring a glass of water over mine ( although accidents happen 😁 ) . The blue fabric side is beautifully soft wheras the underside ( waterproof ) wouldn’t be that pleasant if yiu wrapped it round yourself, I always envisaged this as a throw over my lounge seating anyway and as such I am delighted with it. It looks good and feels good to the touch. Whatever your usage intentions I think you will be as pleased with yours as as I am with mine .

I am sure we are not alone in having a dog who loves to lie and sleep on her owners’ bed. When your dog is a bit hairy and gets wet and sandy frequently though this can be an issue. So this blanket caught our eye and we decided to try it out. Its been in use for a couple of days now and already we can tell its a winner. Comes well packaged (vacuum packed in a box); the coloured (top) side is soft and gentle to the touch, the other side has a textured pattern on it that means the blanket stays exactly where you put it. Our dog (per the video) could not wait to try it out and has laid on it ever since. Have not yet tested out its waterproofing but no doubt the dog will be in the sea soon and we can check that out too. All in all a great blanket and exactly what we (and our dog!) were hoping for.

It arrived well packaged, vacuum sealed, and neatly folded. It’s actually much larger than I expected, which was a nice surprise.I needed a cover for when the littlies are eating on the couch or the floor, and this one is comfortable to sit on and easy to clean afterwards. I love that it’s machine washable.The little plastic grips on the bottom mean that it doesn’t slide all over the place, so the kid can move around on it without it falling on the floor, or getting too scrunched up.I think the original price of $99 is quite high for what it is, and I’ve not had it long enough to test for endurance to see if it gives the kind of value I would expect for that price range. First of all, I love the colour. And it’s massive in size. I got the XL and it easily covers the whole bed. I’ve got it doubled over in the photo. So I experimented with pouring some water on it and can confirm that it absorbs well and does not leak through. And the fabric is really soft. I was reading reviews for another brand and people were saying the material was really synthetic and made funny crinkly noises so I was a bit worried. But I can advise that this blanket feels really natural and comfortable. And no synthetic smell either. Excellent quality. It was easy to wash in the machine and dried on the line in just a few hours so I was pretty impressed. I think it’s great!

The surface just wasn’t as nice against my skin as bed sheets. It also moved just slightly as I moved. For the most part it did grip and stay in place. But it’s not completely magic where it stays as if it is fixed in place.I think the optimal use for me would be on the lounge when the pets want to jump on it. Protect the furniture and keep pet hair off it. Would definitely be a good blanket for taking when you go on a picnic or to the footy etc. too. This is a low pile fleece waterproof cover; I wouldn’t really call it a blanket. It’s not overly plush which helps it resist water soaking into the surface, think more of a felt billiard table finish rather than a plush mink blanket. It’s good that it holds its shape well to protect surfaces, so it’s perfect to lay on for a massage, rather thana towel, and you don’t have to worry about anything getting on your other surfaces.
