Our oils are extracted using a cold-press method. Cold-pressing is a way to extract oil from organic material like wood, nuts, and flowers. Imagine tightening a big screw, with the organic material inbetween a hard surface and the screw. As the space gets smaller, any liquids are forced out and collected in a pan below.

Oil extracted via this process maintains higher levels of key vitamins, minerals and nutrients. Other common extraction methods rely on extreme heat or other processes that can lead to a reduction in the level of active ingredients.
